Sam was a life saver! We had another company look at our oil furnace and heat pump combo system back in February. They informed us that a new thermostat was required and charged us over $1,000.00 for it. We had to call them back out 2 weeks later because we were having the same issue of the thermostat not connecting to the furnace. They messed with the wiring and got our heat working.

Mid April we get a random heat wave and the tempos are 80 degrees amd up, so if course we set the thermostat to cool.The heat pump kicks on and instead of cool air it's pumping out hot. Needless to say we weren't interested in the old company trying to repair this.

I came across Sam and all of his wonderful reviews and gave him a call. I'm so glad I did! He was out same day, had run a variety of tests before confirming the thermostat was the problem. He uninstalled the old thermostat and replaced it. He repeated his tests to mak sure everything was functioning properly and we had cold air! He was very honest that given our system, he recommends a different thermostat so that it can detect the temperature and swap between the units automatically instead of manually requiring assistance. We'll absolutely be reaching out to him once the new thermostat arrives. We'll be recommending Sam to anyone eho expresses HVAC needs. Thank you again Sam!

Sam and his crew replaced my boiler and hot water heater with a new upgraded system. They completed the job on the timeline that we had discussed and they kept the work environment clean. I am very pleased with the work they have done and I would recommend comfort home heating and cooling. I have also used this company to service my air-conditioning unit as well and have been very pleased with the work.

Update: the heating system works great, kept us warm all winter! So very happy with the new system.

I also use the company for my AC unit tune ups and it's been a great experience. Sam is very knowledgeable about the heating and A/C units, he keeps them running well throughout the year.

We recently had a full system replacement. From start to finish Sam and his team were great. Sam came out for an assessment and a quote. He answered all of our questions and recommended some improvements that would help the new system perform better than the old one. On installation day they showed up on time. They kept us updated throughout the process and took great care to make sure everything was cleaned up before they left. He documented everything and explained what they did and told us what we needed to do to validate the warranty. I would definitely recommend comfort home heating and cooling.

Sam was fabulous. He had great recommendations, explained everything to us clearly, was efficient, responsive, reliable, and lovely to work with. He installed a mini split in my new office, so we can enjoy our enclosed sun porch year round. Thank you so much, Sam. Thinking of asking him to replace all the mini splits in our home because we are so impressed with his work, his knowledge, and the Mitsubishi product (but he told us to wait and see how the already-installed units work to save us money). Great experience working with Sam and his team! They were quick to reply and very helpful. They found a solution to a difficult AC ducting issue for a renovation. They also helped fix another AC issue to prevent leaks. They got it done quickly so the renovation could proceed as planned and were very thorough in their work and cleanup. Sam is very helpful, friendly and honest. On multiple items he suggested either lower cost options or holding off for items that are not required. I'd recommend Comfort Home Heating and Cooling to others!

When our AC unit broke down, and we had *multiple* companies out and they all told us it needed to be replaced and gave us quotes on the order of tens of thousands of dollars. Sam came out, diagnosed the real issue, fabricated a part on-site, and charged us less than $300. It's been THREE YEARS now and our AC is still working. We had another issue this summer and they stopped by at 6pm on the Friday before 4th of July weekend in the middle of a massive heatwave and replaced a capacitor to get it working again. I even offered to pay an after hours fee but I was shrugged off and told not to worry about it .

They came out today for a routine furnace inspection. We live in a historic early 1700's house and the basement is terrible but he (Sam, the owner) just made jokes and was needlessly worried/conscientious about tracking dirt through the house.

Even if I could save a few bucks going with someone else, I wouldn't. These guys will actually find what's wrong, and if there's a way to keep your unit alive they will figure it out. And if you're told you need expensive work done, you at least have the peace of mind that they weren't just trying to upsell you.

This is the company you want to use. Hard stop.
